Khanh Hoa attends the 12th Vietnam - France Local Cooperation Conference in Hanoi

The conference will be held from June 13 to 16, 2023 at the Mélia Hanoi Hotel, 44B Ly Thuong Kiet, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, with the theme "Local cooperation: Driving force for recovery and development" in 2023.

The 12th Vietnam - France Local Cooperation Conference will gather more than 800 delegates from both Vietnam and France, including leaders of the Government, relevant ministries and branches, leaders of local governments, representatives of friendship associations, the Vietnamese community in France, overseas Vietnamese intellectuals and patriots in France, representatives of cooperation projects between Vietnam - France, a number of NGOs, research institutes, universities and the business community of Vietnam and France.

On this occasion, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee established a delegation to attend this Conference in Hanoi, in which Mr. Le Huu Hoang, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Head of the delegation together with other departments and agencies: Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Tourism, Department of Finance, Department of Culture and Sports, Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Information and Communications, Management Board of Van Phong Economic Zone, University of Khanh Hoa,...

The meeting is a meaningful event taking place in the context of the two countries celebrating 50 years of diplomatic relations and 10 years of strategic partnership. Vietnam - France strategic partnership in 2023. The event also provides an opportunity to summarize and evaluate the outcomes of cooperation activities between Vietnamese and French municipalities. Simultaneously, it will discuss difficulties and challenges, as well as solutions for strengthening the promotion and implementation of policies on cooperative relations, linkages, and the establishment of mutually beneficial partnerships between localities in the two countries. Thereby it will contribute to promoting the "traditional friendship, comprehensive, long-term and reliable cooperation" relationship between Vietnam and France, strengthen the existing relationship, and expand new partnerships.
