Nha Trang city prepares Spring Flower Festival in 2023
The People's Committee of Nha Trang City has issued Plan No. 8633/KH-UBND-VHTT on November 23, 2022 to organize Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Spring Flower Festival in 2023. According to the content of the Plan, the time to organize the exhibition of works is 13 days, from January 14, 2023 to the end of January 26, 2023 (December 23 of the Tiger Year to January 5 of the Cat Year). The opening ceremony will be held at 19:00 on January 14, 2023 (on December 23 of the Tiger Year). Opening time of the Spring Flower Festival is from 7:00 a.m to 10:00 p.m daily, the venue of the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Spring Flower Festival 2023 will use the entire campus of Yen Phi Park, Thieu Nhi Park, part of the sidewalk and the roadbed of Phan Chu Trinh street, section from Pasteur to Tran Phu, Ngo Quyen streets, section from Pasteur to Phan Chu Trinh, Pasteur streets (section from Le Loi to Phan Chu Trinh), Pasteur street (section from Yersin to Le Loi) are the way to the Spring Flower Festival.
Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Spring Flower Festival 2023 will be designed and decorated with clusters of miniatures according to the theme of the year, with creative layouts and ideas that introduce the characteristics of culture, life and people of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa. Ornamental plant exhibition is organized based on each topic cluster, a bonsai contest between local and foreign artisans, and set up stalls selling ornamental plants, souvenirs, and introducing typical Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa products. The opening and closing ceremonies, ancient folk music contests, and nightly performances will all take place on the main stage. In addition, to add to the lively and rich content of the Spring Festival, kiosks selling traditional handicrafts and promoting local products, Calligraphy Artists, sketching, and some traditional art forms are planned.
In addition, the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Spring Flower Festival in 2023 will organize to display and compete in 10 subjects such as: General orchid, Cattleya orchid, bon sai with flowers, bon sai sub, bon sai Trung, bon sai landscape, miniature landscape - rockery, ornamental rock, tree art and crested bird. At the same time, the People's Committee of Nha Trang city has assigned specific tasks to Nha Trang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company, Department of Culture and Information, Office of Urban Management, Nha Trang Public Service Management Board, Khanh Hoa and Nha Trang City's Wildlife Association, Finance - Planning Department, Department of Internal Affairs, Department of Health, Center of Culture, Information and Sports of Nha Trang City, City Public Security, City Military Command, City Volunteer Youth Force, the People's Committee of Xuong Huan Ward and the City Health Center to coordinate in implementing the contents according to the issued Plan.
Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Spring Flower Festival is a cultural activity organized on a daily basis on the occasion of the Lunar New Year by the People's Committee of Nha Trang city in collaboration with units inside and outside the province to honor traditional cultural values of the nation, contributing to meeting the needs of enthusiastists of flowers, ornamental plants, shopping, and cultural and entertainment activities of local residents in general and tourists in particular. The annual Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Spring Flower Festival has become a familiar spot for artisans inside and outside the province to organize competitions, showcase their talents, learn and share experiences and promote products of plants, flowers and ornamental creatures. At the same time, the event will contribute to promoting and introducing Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism to domestic and foreign tourists.
