Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the inauguration of Do Theater
On the morning of April 1, at the Vega City Nha Trang resort - resort - art - entertainment complex (Bai Tien Area, Vinh Hoa Ward, Nha Trang City), KDI Holdings held the inauguration ceremony of Do Theater. Attendants included Prime Minister Pham Minh Chuong, leaders of ministries, departments and central departments; on the side of Khanh Hoa province, there were Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Do Theater is a construction work to celebrate the 370th anniversary of construction and development of Khanh Hoa Province. The theater is designed with bold Vietnamese cultural identity with inspiration from Do tool - a farming tool of the Vietnamese people. Because the entire mechanical system, stage technique, sound, and light are imported directly from Europe, this is also a rare theater project in Vietnam today that meets the strict standards of world-class art performance. The theater has an area of 2,500 m2, with a capacity of 536 seats. This is a place to perform the unique art program to serve residents and visitors called Life Puppets.

During the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh praised the investor for constructing Vietnam's first private theater. This is a concrete example of the Party and State's policies in mobilizing social resources to invest in culture in the spirit of the Strategy for the Development of Vietnam's Cultural Industries to 2020, with a Vision to 2030. The Prime Minister hopes that the investor of Do Theater will continue to study more deeply the traditional culture of the country in order to promote all the unique values that are rich and imbued with national identity, continue to perfect the complete model of cooperation between the State and the private sector, between the local government and investors, between investors and the public to create motivation and inspiration for development. State management agencies from the central to local level together with enterprises shall promote national cultural values, thereby continuing to motivate the development of tourism as well as Vietnamese brand in the international arena, so that the culture is truly on par with politics and economy...

The inauguration ceremony also announced the annual cooperation agreement to organize the Kite Prize in Nha Trang between Khanh Hoa Province - Vietnam Film Association - Vega City Joint Stock Company (under KDI Holdings Group). Also within the framework of the event, KDI Holdings Group is honored to receive two awards from the Vietnam Record Organization for Do theater in the category: the theater has a unique indigenous cultural architecture with design inspiration from the biggest Do tool in Vietnam; Life Puppets - A special art program with a combination of puppetry art forms, multiple performance spaces, and the first Southeast Asian musical ensemble of indigenous peoples in Vietnam.
