Visit the Indian - Myanmar architectural pogoda in the village of DienKhanh

For many years, PhapVienThanh Son, an Indian-Myanmar architecture pagoda located in Dien Lam commune (DienKhanh district, KhanhHoa) has attracted many tourists and local people to visit.

As recommended by our friends, one weekend, we visited PhapVienThanh Son Pogoda on a warm sunny day.  Coming to Dien Lam commune, although it is still many kilometers away, we could clearly see a large pogoda stood on a high hill, covered with green trees.  Reaching to the pogoda gate, we were overwhelmed by the unique and "incomparable" architecture of this pogoda.

According to people and Buddhists who came to the pogoda, from about 100 years ago, there was a small pogoda on this hill but then it was damaged and degraded due to war.  Currently, the pagoda is rebuilt according to Indian and Myanmar architecture.

When coming here and listening to the Buddhist chant, many people feel to be lost in the peaceful land of Buddha.  The pogoda has a lot of Buddha statues, reliefs, and benches placed around the aisles.  Trees are carefully planted and cared, bended into beautiful domes.

When walking up to the top of the hill, there is a large main hall and at the bottom of the hill is a rice field surrounding thepogoda.  Many tourists and local people, as well as young people, often come here to admire, relax and learn about Buddhist architecture.
