Nha Trang promulgates Plan for Organizing the Spring Flower Festival 2024

The People's Committee of Nha Trang City issued Plan No. 8361/KH-UBND on October 10, 2023 to prepare the organization of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Spring Flower Festival 2024. Accordingly, the festival will last 13 days from February 2, 2024 to the end of February 14, 2024 (on December 23 of the Year of the Cat to January 5 of the Year of the Dragon). The opening ceremony of Spring Flower Festival 2024 is at 19:00 on February 2, 2024 (on December 23 of the Year of the Cat) and the closing ceremony is at 19:00 on February 14, 2024 (on January 5 of the Year of the Dragon). The opening time is from 07:00 to 22:00 on a daily basis from February 2, 2024 to February 14, 2024. The Spring Flower Festival will take place on the entire campus of Yen Phi Park, Children's Park, a part of the sidewalk and the roadway of Phan Chu Trinh Street, Pasteur Street to Tran Phu Street, Ngo Quyen Street, Pasteur Street to Phan Chu Trinh Street, Pasteur Street (Le Loi Street to Phan Chu Trinh Street), Pasteur Street (Yersin Street to Le Loi Street) is the path to the Spring Flower Festival.

Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Spring Flower Festival 2024 is designed and adorned with miniature clusters based on the year's theme, with unique layouts and concepts to introduce Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa culture, life, and people. Organization of the display of ornamental creatures according to each thematic cluster and reasonable layout. Organization of an ornamental creature competition among artisans from within and outside the province. Arrangement of booths for ornamental flowers and souvenirs, experience of cultural and folk activities and introduction of typical products of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa. Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Spring Flower Festival 2024 will organize the exhibition and competition of 10 subjects: Synthetic Orchids, Cattleya Orchids, Bon Sai with flowers, Miniature bonsai, Medium-sized Sai Bonsai, Large-sized Saigon Bonsai, Small Landscapes - Rockery, Ornamental Stones, Artistic Dry Trees and Crested Birds. The People's Committee of Nha Trang City has assigned Nha Trang Urban Environmental Joint Stock Company to assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with relevant agencies in preparing design documents and plans for the organization of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Spring Festival 2024, summarizing the funding for implementation and submitting to the People's Committee of Nha Trang City for appraisal and approval according to regulations. Organization of the installation of decorative electricity, construction of small lanscapes according to the plan approved by the City People's Committee

Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Spring Flower Festival is a cultural activity organized on an annual basis by the People's Committee of Nha Trang City in collaboration with units inside and outside the province on the occasion of the Lunar New Year to honor traditional cultural values of the nation, contributing to meeting the needs of admiring flowers, ornamental plants, shopping and cultural and entertainment activities of the city dwellers in general and tourists in particular during the coming New Year. Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Spring Flower Festival has become a familiar address for artisans inside and outside the province to organize competitions, show off their talents, learn and share experiences, promote plants, flowers and ornamental creatures of artisans.
